    BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council adopts the agenda and any addendums dated Tuesday, January 14, 2025 as circulated/amended

Members of Council are required to state any pecuniary interest in accordance with the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act.

Grand Valley Staffing Update

 

Section 239(2)(b) personal matters about an identifiable individual including municipal or local board employees and (e) litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board.

Members of the Public or organizations wishing to have an announcement read at a meeting are required to contact the Town Offices at [email protected] no later than 4:30 p.m. on the Tuesday preceding the date of the Regular Council Meeting. 

Members of the Public wishing to present information or delegate to matters on the agenda are required to register to delegate using the Council Delegation Request Form.  Deadlines for registration are set out in Procedural By-Law 2024-10 section 6.7.  

Members of the Public are required to submit written questions in advance to [email protected].

    BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council receives the Report – ServiceOntario Marriage Modernization Program.

    AND FURTHER THAT Council directs staff to prepare and present the necessary By-law for adoption.

    BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council receives the Report – Costs Agreement – Dufferin Common Elements Condominium Corporation No. 37.

    AND FURTHER THAT Council directs staff to prepare and present the necessary By-Law for adoption.

    BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council receives the Report – Fire Protection Grant 2024-25 Transfer Payment Agreement.

    AND FURTHER THAT Council approves the Transfer Payment Agreement as presented, authorizes signing by the Mayor and Clerk and directs staff to prepare and present the necessary by-law for passing.

    BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council receives the Report- CAO Progress Update for information purposes.

  • Recommendation

    BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council receives the Report- Public Works Update, January, 2025 for information purposes.

    BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council receives the correspondence listed on the Tuesday, January 14, 2025, Council Agenda. 

Members of Council may provide updates relating to board, committee or association meetings and community events.

    BE IT RESOLVED THAT leave be given to introduce the by-laws listed on the Tuesday, January 14, 2025 agenda as items 21.1 to 21.6; 

    AND FURTHER THAT the By-laws be given the necessary reading and passed and numbered as By-laws 2025-01 to 2025-06.

    BE IT RESOLVED THAT leave be given to introduce a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the Regular Council Meeting held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 and that it be given the necessary readings and be passed and numbered as By-Law 2025-07.
