Mark Kluge, Manager of Planning suggested a delegation to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing regarding infrastructure funding specific for rural Ontario municipalities. Council discussed the delegation. The Manager of Planning advised he will discuss with the CAO. Council requested this item be brought forward under unfinished business on the November 10 Agenda . 16.County Council Report Deputy Mayor Rentsch's update included presentations to County Council regarding the After Action Report on the March 2025 Grand River Flood, Speed Limit Adjustment to Dufferin Road 17, and the County's application for Healthcare funding to recruit doctors. He advised the County will be hold a Budget meeting on Thursday, October 30th. 17.Council Updates Councillor Jonker's update included his attendance at the October 17th Western Ontario Warden's Caucus Municipal Conference where he attended sessions regarding infrastructure development and funding, and his meeting with Michael DiPasquale, OPP Inspector, Detachment Commander where they discussed OPP visibility, speeding and community involvement. Councillor Darts provided an update on the BIA's Masquerade on Main event which was well attended.
