Members of Council are required to request items they wish to discuss from the Information Items. Items will be discussed under Agenda Item 12-Correspondence. 

Members of Council are required to state any pecuniary interest in accordance with the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act.

Members of the Public or organizations wishing to have an announcement read at a meeting are required to contact the Town Offices at [email protected] no later than 4:30 p.m. on the Tuesday preceding the date of the Regular Council Meeting. 

Members of the Public wishing to present information or delegate to matters on the agenda are required to register to delegate using the Council Delegation Request Form.  Deadlines for registration are set out in Procedural By-Law 2024-10 section 6.7.

  • Recommendation

    THAT Council receives Report – Battery Recycling Program opportunity,

    AND FURTHER THAT Council approves participation in the program with Call2Recycle, authorizes the Mayor and CAO to execute the agreement, and directs staff to prepare and present the agreement by-law for passing.

  • Recommendation

    THAT Council receive the Report Request for Variance of the Fence and Pool Enclosure By-Law, 2020-31- 122 Leeson Street South (Roll #357100);

    AND FURTHER THAT Council approve a variance to section 6.1 of the Fence and Pool Enclosure By-Law, 2020-31, as amended, Privacy Screens and Builder-Built Covered Decks, to permit a privacy screen to protrude 5 feet past the front wall of the dwelling.

  • Recommendation

    THAT Council receive the report Spruyt Avenue and Accessible Parking Review;

    AND FURTHER THAT Council approves the amendments to Schedule ‘D’ of Traffic and Parking By-law 2019-72, as amended, and directs staff to present the necessary amended by-law for adoption.

    AND FURTHER THAT Council directs staff to implement exemptions to By-law 2019-72 for motorists with accessible parking permits to permit motorists to park for 2 additional hours and directs staff to present the necessary amending by-law for adoption.

  • Recommendation

    THAT Council receive the report Clean Yards Pro-Active Enforcement Policy Amendment

    AND FURTHER THAT Council approve amendments to the By-law Enforcement Policy Statement as outlined in the report.

    THAT Council receives Report – By-Law Enforcement Status Update – March 2026, for information purposes.

  • Recommendation

    THAT Council receives the report Recreation Update April 2026 for information purposes.

Members of Council may provide updates relating to board, committee or association meetings and community events.
