Members of Council are required to request items they wish to discuss from the Information Items. Items will be discussed under Agenda Item 12-Correspondence. 

Members of Council are required to state any pecuniary interest in accordance with the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act.

Members of the Public or organizations wishing to have an announcement read at a meeting are required to contact the Town Offices at [email protected] no later than 4:30 p.m. on the Tuesday preceding the date of the Regular Council Meeting. 

Members of the Public wishing to present information or delegate to matters on the agenda are required to register to delegate using the Council Delegation Request Form.  Deadlines for registration are set out in Procedural By-Law 2024-10 section 6.7.

  • Recommendation

    THAT Council receive the Council Memo - Well 3 Funding Approval for information. 

  • Recommendation

    THAT Council receives Report – Private Well Interference Report and Recommendation

    AND FURTHER THAT Council directs staff to work with RJ Burnside and Associates and the property owner to have the well replaced and the old well decommissioned as soon as possible,

    AND FURTHER THAT Council directs staff to include the necessary expenses in the Town’s drinking water system 2026 budget.

  • Recommendation

    THAT Council receive Report – County of Dufferin Road Rationalization and Asset Transfer,

    AND FURTHER THAT Council directs the CAO to proceed with negotiating road management agreements with neighbouring municipalities,

    AND FURTHER THAT Council directs the Treasurer to create a reserve in which the funds from the County will be kept for future work related to the downloaded assets.

  • Recommendation

    THAT Report No. PLN2026-018, dated, January 27, 2026, be received;

    AND FURTHER THAT Grand Valley continue using Dufferin County Building Services for the issuance of Building Permits;

    AND FURTHER THAT Staff bring forward a future report once the updated Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the County and the Local Municipalities for Building Services is released for review and comment.

  • Recommendation

    THAT Council receives Report – Grand Valley and District Public School Parking Concerns for information purposes and staff be directed to make the following changes to the Traffic and Parking By-law 2019-72,

    AND THAT staff present the amended by-law for passing at a future council meeting.

    THAT Council receives Report – By-Law Enforcement Status Update –December 2025, for information purposes.

  • Recommendation

    THAT Council receive the Council Memo - Ball Diamond Update for information.

  • Recommendation

    THAT Council receives the report Recreation Update January 2026 for information purposes.
